After 6 weeks of hard work developing your Character Design, it is time to present it to the world!
- Duplicate your Black Outline document, and start colouring your character design.
- Ensure every part of the character is coloured.
- If you are unable to colour any part of the drawing, zoom in to find any gaps in your drawing, and connect the gaps.
- When you are done colouring, upload to Padlet.
- In Padlet, write a 50-word Artist Statement explaining the following:
- Why you chose this animal
- How it is related to your environmental message
- What the animal’s costume/props represent.
- Suitability of colours (60 marks):
- The colours support your environmental message
- The colours are inspired by the original animal
- Relevance of artist statement (40 marks):
- You have explained why you chose this animal
- You have explained how it is related to your environmental message
- You have explained what the animal’s costume/props represent
- Your artist statement is at least 50 words
